WORKSHOP
WORK EXPERIENCE - 2018-2023Sur del Cruz is a small Architecture + Workshop practice created by Loli Mallea that started in 2014. Teamed with my partner, Agustín Terrizzano from whom I learned everything I know about workshop today.
My role at the workshop was project-based and included: Management, planning, digital production, documentation, design, workshop production, communication, photography.
Sur wasn't just a job; it was a space for learning and growth. In this workshop, we were able to develop our own craft and our professional personalities. We had the opportunity to experiment, be creative, and also exercise discipline and responsibility.
Over the years, we took on increasing responsibilities, ultimately forming a team of three essential parts. Loli as Chief Executive, Agus as Workshop Manager, and me as Production Manager.

CAMPAÑA
PH: CATA ROMERO - FOTOGRAFÍA DE OBRA"The construction is inspired by the furniture commonly found in the Argentine countryside and workshops across the country. The guideline is to create simple and clear designs, employing a consistent construction method to minimize alterations to each wood section.
This method of construction is grounded in the idea that both in workshops and in the countryside, people build what they need in a way that works best. We admire the simplicity and elegance in creating these pieces of furniture." Sur del cruz
